A new chapter is opening for reMIX as the next months will see our main office move to Shenzhen!

In the last couple of years we have worked extensively in Guangdong and found out that it is the perfect environment to push our design agenda: a lot of exciting projects and clients that are very receptive for innovative solutions across architecture and landscape design. So we have decided to start a new office there.

reMIX

reMIXstudio | 臨界工作室，一間致力于打破專業和尺度界限的空間工作室。三位創始人 – Chen Chen, Federico Ruberto and Nicola Saladino – 分別來自不同的學術研究背景并在多個國際性事務所在多尺度多類型的設計實踐中積累了豐富的經驗。我們涉足建筑設計，景觀設計以及城市規劃設計，并尤以其中的交叉性、綜合性的設計為專長。

reMIX studio’s work challenges the boundaries between different design disciplines and scales. The office was born from the experience that the three founding partners, Chen Chen, Federico Ruberto and Nicola Saladino, have developed during years of academic research and through collaborations with various international firms, studying and inquiring diverse modes of interventions and procedural attitudes. The studio expertise ranges from architecture to landscape and urban design.

對reMIX而言，過去的一年令人興奮又充滿挑戰。春末夏初，reMIX中標中科院深圳理工學院（籌）的校園設計，引領一個由建筑師、景觀設計師、室內設計師和各專業工程師組成的龐大聯盟，在極其緊張的周期中，共同完成這個56萬平米校園從校園規劃到室內設計的全過程深化。與此同時，福田中學的施工即將進入最后一年的關鍵階段，reMIX也與學校各學科老師組成落地設計團隊，復核深化設計，開展工地指導，確保學校最為細致的使用需求得以完整而精致的實現。

The last year has been a very busy one, with the development of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, where reMIX has led a consortium of architects, landscape architects and engineers to design the totality of the new 550,000m2 university campus, from the general master planning all the way to the interior design. We have also completed the CD of Futian High School and are now following the construction process.

我們也開啟了一系列正在進行的新項目，如廣州阿那亞學校，東莞CBD學校，香港科技大學（廣州）紅鳥Maker Space等，以及一系列私人改造項目（文化及住宅）。

On-going projects include Dongguan CBD School, Aranya Guangzhou School, the Red Bird Maker Space for Honk Kong University of Science and Technology in Guangzhou and a few more private renovation projects (commercial and residential).

reMIXer們團結友愛，事務所的管理十分扁平化，在胡同中共同午餐是工作室每日重要的休閑和交流時光。

reMIX is a friendly group of young and “still-young” people, and the management of the office is non-hierarchical. Lunch in the alley is an important daily leisure and communication time for the studio.

我們細致推敲每個設計項目，開放討論，互相學習，每個人的聲音都可以被聽到。

We carefully consider each tiny design detail, often in an open discussion where we can learn from each other and everyone’s voice can be heard.

最受小伙伴們歡迎的工作室活動當然是reMIX內部競標評圖大會，參賽選手躍躍欲試，“吃瓜群眾”自由點評。精彩激烈，收獲滿滿。初此之外，三位合伙人在工作室外的教學和研究也會滲透到工作室中來，工作室不定期開展技術workshop和建筑及景觀理論講座系列，我們希望大家在reMIX可以在各個方面獲得共同的成長。

我們工作室小伙伴們愛好多多，除了建筑、藝術，大多喜歡騎行、跳舞、彈吉他等，我們也非常希望多才多藝的你加入我們。

reMIXers have a lot of hobbies. In addition to architecture and art, most of them like riding, dancing, and playing guitar. We hope that more and more versatile talents can join us.

reMIX福利 | reMIX benefits

reMIXer每年有12天年假，疊加因項目緊張周末及節假日1：1加班調休，可以來一場說走就走的旅行。我們相信豐富的生活體驗是建筑師獲得靈感的重要來源，因而我們制定了一系列的工作室政策，幫助大家保持生活與工作的平衡。

每周五會定期舉行Happy hour ，吃吃喝喝同時大家分享建筑、藝術相關的話題。我們也會邀請我們的朋友來為大家分享不同的主題內容。除此之外，reMIXer在每年會進行一次工作室出行，還有不定時不限次的聚餐，滑雪、卡丁、探洞等挑戰我們身體極限的運動活動。希望在reMIX的時光也能成為大家彼此交流，共同成長的經歷。
